Orthopaedic Services
Rex is a major provider of orthopaedic services, with 40 orthopaedic surgeons, six physiatrists and 17 podiatrists on the medical staff. In a national study by HCIA, Rex was named a Top 100 Hospital in orthopaedic excellence. The study measured quality of care, efficiency of operations and continuous high level of performance.
Rex offers a full range of diagnostic imaging, a dedicated orthopaedic inpatient unit, rehabilitation services, two long-term skilled nursing care facilities and three wellness centers. Rex has obtained accreditation for its rehab program from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
