Rex Healthcare has received state approval to build a new facility in North Raleigh. The new location, located off Capital Boulevard/U.S. 1 North near downtown Wake Forest, will feature the best in high quality services and technology including three operating rooms for same day surgeries. Rex's nationally recognized oncology program will also open a satellite cancer center to better accommodate patients in the growing northern Wake County area. At residents' request, Rex is building a, full-service wellness center. Pre-sales for the new Rex Wellness Center will begin in September 2008.
Currently Rex Healthcare's presence in Wakefield is in family practice medicine and urgent care. These healthcare services will move into the new facility when it opens its doors in March 2009.
